Building & Maintaining Trails

Shaping the Future of Trail Riding

Dig Days are a huge part of the work we do at MTBCO, building, maintaining, and improving the trails that define riding in the Central Okanagan. These days are open to everyone, whether you’re swinging a tool for the first time or you’ve shaped more berms than you can count. We host weekly opportunities to get involved, learn from experienced builders, and leave a lasting impact on the community’s trail network. Come out, lend a hand, and help shape the future of riding for everyone.

About Dig Days

What To Expect

  • Happens once a month, typically on weekends. These are opportunities for new or existing members who have not experienced their first dig day. It’s a lighter and more social introduction to trail building and maintenance.

  • Happens every Tuesday at the Gillard trail network. These are for doers. The Tuesday crew get things done, build new jumps, reshape berms or entire sections of trail. Put your mark on the trail with a team of experienced trail builders. Open to all! No experience required to help.

FAQs

  • Typically, no. We try to bring enough tools so that everyone has access to one or two at any given time. If you have tools, we encourage you to bring them so that there are more to go around for other members.

  • For the duration of the event, we won't be riding bikes. We will be solely focussing on building and maintenance.
Feel free to bring your bike to ride after the official event!
