A Beloved West Kelowna Network

Smith Creek sits on the northwest slopes of West Kelowna and has grown into one of the region’s most popular trail networks. Known for its fast, flowy descents, natural-feature jumps and drops, and smooth singletrack, it offers fun, forested laps for riders of many skill levels.

Riding Experience

Smith Creek is one of the few networks in the Central Okanagan where the climb itself is part of the experience. The singletrack ascent winds steadily through the forest, offering tight corners, technical moments, and views over West Kelowna as you approach the plateau. From there, multiple descending options drop back into the trees—everything from fast flow to playful, feature-rich lines.

Trail Development & Community Roots

The Smith Creek network continues to evolve thanks to local builders, volunteers, and the riding community. Trail days, partnerships, and ongoing maintenance efforts keep the area riding well throughout the season and help support the sustainable growth of this high-use network.

Know Before You Go

This is a busy trail system—expect to meet riders on both the climb and the descent. Please ride alert, yield appropriately, and help keep Smith Creek a safe, welcoming place for everyone. Trail maps are available on Trailforks or at local bike shops throughout Kelowna and West Kelowna.
