What to Expect

Riders are welcome to use the climb trail or the road to pedal to the KVR and over to First Notch.  Shuttling IS allowed for this event… Bring those DH bikes!

The staging will be at the 5km parking area (“5K pits”).  This is where you will pick up and drop off your chips.

This week’s stage is First Notch, from top to Bottom!  Mike will be managing the start line, sending riders down in 30-60 second intervals.

The stage will end at the very bottom of First Notch as you enter back on to the access road.  Riders will make their way back to the staging area once finished their run to hand in their timing chips.

Volunteers will be stationed at all important intersections for safety.

This is the final event of the 2026 Sunset Series, so come join us for the final race night as we head off into Summer!  Overall series podiums to follow the end of the race.

Who Should Attend

• MTBCO members, volunteers, partners!

• Intermediate - Advanced skill levels welcome. Must be competent on upper First Notch.

Registration is required, opens 7 days prior to the event.

Meet at the Gillard 5k pits zone for Race Chip Pickup. Parking is available at the 5K pits.
