Introducing our new President and Vice President

We’re excited to share that Aimee King has stepped into the role of President, with Brad Pedersen joining as Vice President. Both bring a strong passion for trails, community, and the future of mountain biking in our region, and we’re looking forward to the leadership and perspective they’ll bring to the year ahead. We’re excited to see what’s next for MTBCO under their guidance and to continue building a strong, connected mountain biking community together.

The 2026 Annual General Meeting

We’re excited to share that the 2026 MTBCO Annual General Meeting has officially been confirmed and will take place on February 11, 2026. This will be an important opportunity to reflect on the past year, share updates on trail projects and community initiatives, and look ahead to what’s next for MTBCO. We’ll also be setting aside a moment prior to the meeting to recognize the volunteers who help make our work possible, more details to come.

Additional information, including the venue, agenda, and timing, will be shared soon. Please stay tuned as we get closer to the date.

Lake Country Bike Park Seasonal Closure

The Lake Country Bike Park is now officially closed for the season. We look forward to reopening once weather conditions allow, which we currently expect will be sometime in April 2026. Stay tuned and we will share updates as soon as we have clearer visibility on reopening timelines.

On behalf of MTBCO, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to the incredible volunteers who worked weekly to maintain the park throughout the season. Their dedication and hard work ensured the bike park remained in pristine condition all season long and played a critical role in the success of the park’s first year.

What began as a community-focused initiative has quickly grown into a destination, serving not only the Lake Country community but also welcoming riders from across the Okanagan and throughout British Columbia. The support, enthusiasm, and participation from riders near and far made this first season truly special.

Thank you for an amazing first year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next season.

A Fresh New Look For MTBCO

We’re excited to unveil the refreshed MTBCO website, redesigned to better reflect who we are today and where we’re headed. The new look aligns with our updated brand and creates a clearer, more accessible hub for riders, volunteers, and supporters across the community. It highlights MTBCO as an active, growing organization that’s deeply invested in the future of mountain biking in the Central Okanagan. Take a look and explore what’s new at mtbco.ca.
